Jewdle is a game similar to Wordle, but with a focus on Jewish culture. In this situation, it is for Jews who desire to guess six-letter words from well-known alphabets. These include English, Hebrew, Yiddish, Aramaic, and additional languages. Additionally, the terms are typically associated with a particular culture, such as holidays, slang, and prayers. As long as it has a greater Jewish connection, it is fair game.
In Wordle, players must predict a five-letter word using codebreaker logic. In Jewdle, players are required to predict six-letter Jewish words, which increases the difficulty. The principles of Wordle continue to apply to the colored-tiles hint. The tile turns green when the correct letter is placed in the correct location, in this case for the correct word. The tile turns yellow if the letter belongs to the word but is placed in the incorrect location. If the letter does not appear in the word at all, the tile turns gray.
The word list was compiled by the Shalom team, which consists of a large number of devoted Wordle participants. Jewdle is also distinguished by the fact that, once the conundrum has been solved, the user can look up the meaning of the completed word.
