Who Are Ya?

Who Are Ya? is a football-themed Wordle hosted in a web browser on the Missing11.com website. Who Are Ya? is similar to Wordle, except that participants have eight chances to identify a footballer.

How to play the Who Are Ya? game?

As in the original, Who Are Ya? consists of a set number of attempts (eight in this instance), with each attempt revealing something your guess and the target player have in common. When the game begins, you are presented with an indistinct image of a player. They will all compete in one of Europe's five main leagues: the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1 or Bundesliga. The game will indicate whether your estimate regarding a player's nationality, league, club, position, or age was correct.
For example, if you chose Jorginho and the circles for his league and position were lighted up green, but the other circles were gray, you would know that you were searching for a Premier League midfielder who is not Italian, does not play for Chelsea, and is under 30 years old.

If you correctly identify a player's name, it will only be if:

When a player's name is typed in Who Are Ya?, their name appears in the search list. You cannot enter a name for the game that is not on the roster.
A footballer competes in the Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, or Ligue 1.
The player has played for a team in one of the leagues noted above at least once.
If a player is registered with a club but has not participated in any of that club's league events, they will not appear in the game's search tool. This means that footballers who have played for a club, but only in non-league games, will not be permitted to participate here.
If there were more green tiles, it would be simpler to estimate correctly and require fewer attempts. If you identify the correct player after eight attempts, all five tiles under their name will be colored green. After each estimate, the player's image will become slightly clearer. However, you cannot rely on the hues because they have been altered. It is not as simple as you may believe, but if you enjoy soccer, you should give it a shot. Have joy!
