How to play the Immaculate Grid game?
Immaculate Grid requires an acute eye for detail and a comprehensive understanding of player accomplishments and histories. To effectively complete the grid, certain rules and conditions must be followed. Each designated player must have appeared in at least one game for the team indicated in the team cell. For instance, if the franchise is the New York Yankees, the player must have played for them at some point in their career.
In addition, the player selected for award cells must have won the award during a season in which he played for the designated team. There is an exception for All-Star selections, which are exclusive to one team. If a player was an All-Star for the Texas Rangers during a season in which they divided time between Texas and New York, they would match for Rangers All-Stars but not Yankees All-Stars. Other award recipients who played for multiple teams may, however, match any team for which they were eligible.
Immaculate Grid's gameplay integrates numerous categories and variables. Hall of Famers are eligible for selection regardless of their category (player, franchise, umpire, executive/pioneer), but they must have played at least one major league game. World Series champions must have played in a postseason game or been on the team's postseason roster to qualify. The game also considers career and season statistics, requiring players to have accomplished the required statistics while playing for the designated team.
